The Mitsuo Katsui poster series was completed in Design: Process, Context, and Systems with Jose Menendez. This project created a visual identity to advertise for an exhibition of Mitsuo Katsui's work, a designer that stands out to me for his use of small triangles and spikes of solid color to create beautiful gradients and compositions. I chose to enlarge some small elements of his posters to bring the focus to this technique. The central poster features the same circle twice, with the large form displaying the spikes and the small form showing how they fade to a gradient when seen from a distance. This project was done in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
